do they still make it ? what did you all think of it ? I for one thought that it tasted a little different, but it was cool. I kinda liked using both the green and the red to make mah tater tots into a sort of art project...thingy...
plus if you mix the 2, you get brown ketchup.

Re: Green Ketchup ?
Sun, August 29, 2004 - 8:11 PMThe color green has always been iffy. Remember how it was such a big deal that they could finalyl make gree M&Ms because before they were kinda poisonous.
Green Ketchup? I saw it on the shelf, but I never tried it. It just didn't seem right. Sure, a tomatoe picked to early was green. Hey...maybe that's why it tasted a little diffrent!

Mon, August 30, 2004 - 10:30 AMthey "retired" the green color, but have replaced it with others, purple, peach, uh, some other color, they like to keep changing them.
apparently, they say there is no difference in flavor. I watched a show on ketchup about a week ago, they had a segment on the colors. -

Re: Green Ketchup ?
Mon, August 30, 2004 - 12:20 PMI just didn't like the look of it, Mom gave me some, and it is still in the fridge.
And it was the red dye in M&Ms that were not safe, they have always made green M&Ms, the thing with them was green meant you were horny. -

How long does ketchup stay good in the fridge? How will you know if it has gone bad? -

Re: Green Ketchup ?
Mon, August 30, 2004 - 12:36 PMthe plastic container will expand and eventually explode (at the opening)

Re: Green Ketchup ?
Tue, August 31, 2004 - 12:56 PMnah - some of my employees at my last job would fill the plastic ketchup comtainers and leave them overnight
the ketchup would get warm and expand. the gasses would send ketchup gooing out of the containers, and lucky me, I'd be the opening manager. -
